Hi creative souls... Roopashree here, am back with a lovely & cute Cupid tag for Valentine's Day. "A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person.”I love being married. It’s so great to find one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life.” Let's start with the project. To make the surface workable, I primed it with a coat of black Gesso and allowed it to dry, I added some texture to the surface by stenciling with texture paste. Decorated the base with embellishments available in the store, like metal charms, pearls, primed chipboard, resin feather, Cupid & flowers & some embellishments out of my stash, layered & arranged them as shown in the image. I have used heavy gel mediam to stick the embellishments. Waited till everything was dry before moving on to the next step. Hello Creatives... Roopashree here, I m up with my inspiration post for an amazing Random Arts as a Guest Designer for the month of October. Have a wonderful & vibrant mood board by Random Arts to create beautiful art piece. Let's get started. Step 1: Take a square MDF board as base, prime it with a coat of gesso. create floral pattern using 2 in 1 mixedmedia paste by little Birdie through stencil & add granny texture paste all round the edges. Step 2: Now Spray Lindy's spray randomly to match the mood board colors. (colors used jazzy jivin purple & Delphinium Turquoise from Lindy's) Step 3: Give a coat a gesso to the frame & spray color bloom from prima marketing. This will be the focal point. (colors used Pink crocus & Boysen Berry) Step 4: Apply white gesso on chipboard designs, bottle cap & clay flowers. paint the backside of the art pebbles with art alchemy acrylic paint color crocus fields. It's a little bird house this time...Having a cute little bird house in your garden or your backyard is just amazing to watch them nesting...if no birds are nesting in your house, why not to make one; ... Here i am with cute little Bird House... This project was dedicated to Itsybitsy- Little Birdie 🐦 brand...  This project made it to the Top 3 in monthly challenge - May 2017 Hope u all like it too... " Floral Easter Egg" Hello Crafty friends... It's been a long time I have uploaded projects on my blog, so thought to start up a new project with whole lot of new ideas on Easter day...  So here is the final outcome of my project, hope u all will admire as much as I did. Trust me this egg shap base is a trash. I know u all must be excited to know. Just scroll down to see the pictorial procedure... Loved this mood board so much immediately thought of using these colous, it's so bright and beautiful, which inspired me to make something creative...  Procedure: It's a plastic room freshener container, have used as a base as I wanted to make something for Easter. Firstly apply a coat of white gesso all over the base then covered it completely with tissues using acrylic gloss gel medium (decoupage glue can also be used). Hi Friends .... " The Mask"... Am back with another Mixed media layout " The Mask"...Am so obsessed with Mixed media nowadays that keeps experimenting new technics & New forms ... So let's have a look ... as I said earlier I like experimenting I started with MDF base instead canvas ... To keep it simple n eligent have chosen only 3 soft shades...with some clay emblishment, beads,buttons, mdf laser cut gears n as the center attraction the paper mache mask...Happy the way it turned out to be... Hi all... Am Roopashree an Architect by profession & a passionate Crafter... This is my first post in my own blog & am so excited to share my creations here... Being an Architect I always admired the Roman Architecture especially those Columns with richly decorated Capital, usually sculpted with flowers n leaves decorations...  Inspired by this had a concept in my mind from many a days got to execute by participating in a March blogchallange organiszed by itsy bitsy .... "City of Love-Rome" my first try on mixed media & to my wonder it turned out to b a super fabulous piece of Art with those colour combo.. Textures.. metal n wood Emblishments..Tiny tiny bricks n beautiful flowers & not to forget those Detailed columns added life to my art... The good news is my art has been selected as Topper in Top 3 entries by itsybisty, My hardwork really paid off... Some glimpse of the Mixed media art "City of Love- Rome" ❤ ❤ ❤....
